Just South of Reckless has been hailed as a dynamic musical duo, captivating audiences with their unique blend of rock, country, and Americana. Janet Herbert's soulful vocals, inspired by the likes of Linda Ronstadt and Kasey Musgraves, combined with Stu Cohen's virtuoso guitar skills, have created a sound that is both sensitive and powerful.
The duo of Stu Cohen and Janet Herbert are also members of The Ruxtones band, playing classic rock and a little of the unexpected.
The music of Just South of Reckless has been showcased at local venues such as The Recher Theater for two charity events, along with local bars and breweries.
